Ra's Roundup #21
Good Day To You Everyone,
It’s time for another Ra’s Roundup. Things have changed a lot in July of 2023.
Twitter has become “X” and Instagram has created Threads as if we needed another social app. Also, confirmation of Aliens seems to have come straight from Congress *(not quite folks). But do we care? Ne-Nu-Ne-Nu Nope!
Apparently, Congress had this alien hearing on the schedule since the beginning of this year. There’s still no evidence and I would like to see the aliens. But this story is about information overload and priorities. Who gives a care about Aliens when ppl are *barely making rent? When trans people are so frequently murdered (RIP O’Shae Sibley)? And audiences at concerts are *throwing things on stage *at performers (most recently Pusha T & Cardi B)
Weird Times all-together, right? Ripe with Opportunity though. You’ve already heard of *Pinky Doll … right? Catapulted into popularity in July 2023. I think many of us have money on the brain and if you happen to find yor edge you can stack up in a time of uncertainty. Focus on living within your means and saving even if at first, it’s coins.

I still get into fashion at times but, currently, I am so disinterested in the industry offerings. Don’t get me wrong, I work in retail as a sales associate so I’ll never truly be away from it. So it’s corny things like these big a** yellow shoes that make me smile.Never gonna find me in them though lmao.
Designers that I am enjoying at the moment are Bianca Saunders and Martine Rose. I love them both for the way they add shape back into the mens wardrobe.Notably enhancing the physique of the wearer. Saunders plays with elongating and shortening the tourso, which in the image below lends to a sense of ease.

Martine Rose, also adds shape by snatching the waistline sometimes with a corset, more often with a belt.
Anyway, yeah see; I can still get carried away talking about style and fashion.
