Studio Debris 4

I am back with another installment of studio debris, a selection of things I recently made in my studio and odds and ends that I may or may not have published yet.

1st. The Act Of Buying Yourself Flowers. I filmed my trip to the grocery store to buy snacks and flowers to later get home and create this short piece on the act itself as a form of gentle rebellion.

On a separate occasion I went out to purchase bubble bath and got the idea to make this video after a toke or two of weed. I vividly pictured a POV of me blowing bubbles before setting the scene. I filmed this on my iPhone and edited it in premier pro.

I made some new collages to add to my bulletin board that’s above my bed. I want to keep adding more imagery over time. Right now I have letters from family members, an old zine I made, two childhood photos of me and 2 collages.

At times I want to share a quote on IG but I don’t like the way the original image looks, so I typed up a few quotes I liked this month and will be doing more of this.

My latest musical project dropped and it’s called Salt and Sweet. My sister selected her favorite song ‘The Key’ which happens to be the one a lot of other people like.

Normally I would put this in an andramart post but it works here, I bought this jacket from Elwood and it’s been making its way outside a lot. Now I’m noticing a lot of other women with pink jackets on the bus and elsewhere.
